Cool for kids

So my children have discovered this website. My daughter seemed impressed (you know, sort of) that I was familiar with Wet Leg. Their 'hit' Chaise Lounge was in my second playlist. So, pay attention grown-ups, and be as cool as the kids today.

This week I found a new artist that I really like and am quite happy to share: The Paranoid Style. Out of the DC area, they have a manic style with lyrics that quote Lou Reed ('When someone turns that blue, it's a universal truth...") to discussions of Alan Greenspan. They also have a fantastic Twitter account with song reviews. They've got a new album coming in August.

For all the new subscribers, that's my goal. Find new bands that I like and share them with you! You shouldn't expect to like it all - or I'm not trying hard enough.
