Slap that bass

After a friend’s (first) wedding, my future wife forced everyone to go see some bands she heard were great. The wedding party showed up in tuxedos and dresses to see Fishbone and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (with Hilel). Unbelievable. (RHCP was incredible then, not so much now, IMO.)

What’s interesting to me about this post is that I started listening to more funk just for NM4OP. Unlike my other early posts, I didn't have any funky new bands I was listening to. The songs on the playlist are new to me too.

The best surprise was finding King Kahn and the Shrines. Super fun.
