What is post-punk? Kind of everything now, right? Here's my definition: everything after "Give 'em enough rope" by The Clash. So I am calling this playlist Post-punk even though it really doesn't mean anything to me.
What’s on this list are some of my favorite bands right now. Titus Andronicus, Yuck, and Parquet Courts. Titus Andronicus is a punk band influenced by Bruce Springsteen. Parquet Courts are the current indie darlings from Brooklyn. See them live if you get a chance. Yuck has one great album and some that aren’t quite so great and they may be defunct, but their eponymous album is fantastic!
